What I’m Looking to Do Next

I get cast in a lot of drama. I love any part I get since they’re all privileges but when people ask me what my ideal role would be, I tell them I would actually love to do comedy– which is essentially drama but with stakes that seem ridiculous hence the comedy. And I’d love to do a good action drama because who doesn’t want to be like Jennifer Garner in Alias? Or sci-fi stuff!  I used to read X-Factor, Power Pack etc. so my inner nerd still yearns to be a mutant.

I get excited thinking about good movies and projects, I love good films because they have the ability to help people try on situations they otherwise might not be open to. In experiencing the conflict and struggle of a character, the viewer experiences a part of themselves they normally don’t access. The power of a moving performance reminds us all of our universal humanity, and I have nothing but respect for people in my industry who are doing this on a huge level.

And on that note, life is short, I’m starting my fourth year as an actor and I know there’s so much talent out there waiting to come together. I figure it can’t hurt to be proactive and reach out to other storytellers, writers, film makers, and producers who are looking to collaborate and create projects with a message, whether it be film, theatre, television, animation or new media. If that’s you, hollah.
