I grew up reading an occasional Nora Roberts book here and there. Who knew I’d play the television version of Detective Liz Alberta for Lifetime Television’s adaptation of her novel High Noon one day? I think the book version of my character is in her 40′s, Latina, and incredibly tough from her time in the vice unit. That’s what I remember anyway from flipping through Nora’s novel, which was given to me by producers as part of a welcome basket in my hotel room.
This project was a lot of fun, and a great learning experience around delivering exposition. I loved working with Emmy-nominated director, Peter Markle (United 93), and Lost‘s Emilie De Ravin.

Book 'em Danno.
